Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a heavy feeling on my chest life an elephant is sitting on it. I am short of breath. My legs are swollen and sometimes my feet. I am very tired everyday. I have also had this feeling like a have to pee but it doesn t hurt when I do go. I need to go many times at night
The chest pain you describe is typical of a heart problem so it is safer for you to have a visit and an ECG to rule it out. You can in the meanwhile use sublingual (under the tongue) nitroglicerine to help with the pain and try to avoid heavy exercise or exercise/activities that aggravate the pain. Please see your doctor as soon as possible to prevent any possible heart attack if the heart is the reason for the pain.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
